Throughout a good portion of the movie, we see Elle obsessing over her newly-broken up with boyfriend Warner, someone who I never really liked, though I believe that was the purpose of his character. Because of this, she drastically changes the trajectory of her life and heads to Harvard Law School to convince him to take her back after coming to terms with the fact that he wants a “smart girlfriend”,
