We all have setbacks and life's realizations throughout our lives. It doesn't make it easier to start learning about the power of beliefs and how we need to change them in order to become a better someone. I have learned so much through my journey and have read a lot to understand but I have realized life is my greatest teacher. In this stream I will be writing about emotions, motivation, spirituality, conciseness, life lessons, realizations, the body and my connection to the Universe (Mother Nature).
This is a series of unfiltered, honest, soul touching self reflective think pieces to help shine light on dark situations.
A fractured perspective of life, where shadows meet words and create unsettling thoughts I will also be posting some of these as videos on youtube

Storytelling through poetry is the art of distilling life into language. It captures moments, memories, and emotions, then reshapes them into rhythm, metaphor, and truth. A good poem tells a story not just with words, but with feeling—inviting listeners or readers to see, hear, and feel the world through someone else’s lens. It engages by peeling back layers, revealing vulnerability, tension, culture, love, or pain in ways that linger. Whether personal or imagined, poetic storytelling turns silence into voice—and voice into connection.
Hello. My name is Dr. AY Heath; you can call me Angel. I'm here to chronicle a big goal for myself. And trust me, it is a very big goal. So what is this big goal. I’m going to read and break down 150 film scripts. That does sound like a lot, but it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while and, after stepping away from my corporate job, I dove into film school and have been diving deep into the process of storytelling. But I want to do more than just learn technical skills; I want to understand what works and doesn't and see where we're in this big filmmaking industry.

If there was ever a way to publicly humiliate an allied leader—one who is literally fighting for his country’s survival—Trump and his administration managed to find it.
While unprecedented, the legal and diplomatic basis for this approach is intriguing. This bold move could offer Ukraine several major advantages...

"No, it is Kit-Ty," Harold corrected, shaking his head. "She says it wrong. She is still a baby," Elise said gently. "Meow, meow… meowww," Nadine mimicked the family cat, her tiny frame wiggling like a kitten in play. Eli dropped to his hands and knees beside her. "Meowww!" he exaggerated, scrunching his nose and wiggling his fingers like whiskers. "Ugh, this is ridiculous," Harold groaned. As Nadine moved, the soft fur of her costume brushed against her arms, keeping her warm against the cool fall air. She did not know it yet, but this was something she would carry forever. Her orange-striped costume tail flicked behind her. It was her first Halloween, the night she would start transforming into something more. Later, as shadows stretched across the walls, she whispered her first sign of something greater. "Here, Key-Kee."
"The melody of ‘Jesus Loves the Little Children’ drifted through the quiet church, each note steady beneath Yara’s fingertips. No one noticed how her back stiffened, how her breath caught just slightly before she pressed forward, playing through the sharp waves of pain. The music continued, but time itself seemed to slow. It wasn’t time. Not yet."
In a world & age where most of us are constantly questioning everything & others of us not questioning enough, there comes a time when everyone experiences the elusive fusion between both polarities. This insight stirs alot of curiosity within us, which either causes us to lean into seeking liberation or creates a false sense of perception for us to cling to. What do you choose?
A short poem that goes through my tidal waves of emotions as I come to terms with the final fight with my best friend and also coping with the feeling that maybe we hadn't been friends before the fight even happened.

I Am the Tower ( MARs) A Personal Reflection on Reclaiming Myself There was a time I thought I needed saving, that someone, anyone, would come and lift me from the weight of my own life. I waited. I hoped. But in the silence and absence of rescue, I found something else: myself. I used to call a place "home," but it doesn’t feel like mine anymore. Maybe it never was. Or maybe I outgrew it, the way storms outgrow the sea. It was during a time of great stillness, maybe even darkness, that I realized what I once clung to for safety was holding me back.

Most publishers strive to maintain a presence on social media, with the expectation that it will increase traffic to their websites, and therefore increase revenue. In addition to paying for social media managers, they also often encourage their writers to post regularly on their own personal accounts (meaning reporters are spending time marketing instead of reporting). There is little evidence this actually increases revenue beyond the cost of supporting that presence (if that).
We want Notd to be as simple as possible for writers and readers, but with so many great features (many of which are new to online publishing), there may be a learning curve. Below are important tips to help you get set up correctly and get noticed. They may seem basic at first, but don’t skip them!

Read more from 150 Script JourneyReleased in 1982, Blade Runner has solidified itself as one of the most influential films in the sci-fi genre. Inspired by Philip K. Dick's novel, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, the film challenges the audience with timeless questions about what it means to be human. It delves into the complexities of identity and explores the consequences of artificial life in a profoundly relevant way today.

“Now in my death, no matter how much I pleaded and begged, I was considered a threat. So I am asking this for my kids… Why do you still look at the color of my skin as a weapon?” JLHenry returns with Part II, the ghost of a man forced to narrate his own injustice. His voice—posthumous but thunderous—calls out the systems, the silence, and the stories twisted after the trigger is pulled. “Where’s the empathy? Where’s your humanity?” This isn’t just poetry—it’s protest. It’s grief. It’s truth that won’t die quietly.
Excerpt from PART I by JLHenry “Do you see me? No, do you really see me? My very essence? My being? I am more than a Black man—I am a father, a son, a brother. Why even bother when all you see is a monster?” A routine stop. A conversation turned confrontation. Obedience met with violence. “I’m just trying to make it back to my family… in one piece.” As ribs shatter under bullets and breath slips away, the silence screams louder than sirens. JLHenry’s PART I is not just a poem—it’s a cry, a chronicle, a confrontation with systemic injustice. Feel the fear. Taste the tragedy. Witness the truth
Hello fellow readers and writers! When I first laid eyes on her, she was little more than a whisper of a cat—fragile, skittish, and heartbreakingly thin. Her fur clung patchily to her body, and her eyes, though tired, held a flicker of fight. That was the moment I knew I had to bring her home. She was a rescue—neglected, underfed, and forgotten. I named her, gave her a soft bed, and promised her she would never be hungry or unloved again. The first few days were tough. She didn’t trust me at first, and who could blame her? She flinched at sudden movements, hid under furniture, and barely touched her food. But I was patient. I let her set the pace. Gradually, her world began to change. With every gentle word and slow blink, she learned I meant no harm. I remember the first time she purred—a shaky, uncertain sound that felt like music to my ears. Each small milestone was a victory: finishing a full meal, sleeping in the open, letting me stroke her back without recoiling. Her body slowly began to fill out.
