South Korea has been facing gender inequality, especially women who make up a small percentage of decision-making roles. These women also face sexual harassment during hwaesik culture traditions at corporate/company celebrations. While there is being active change being made, there is a larger issue at hand.

Francis Wilkinson: Liberals can hold corporations accountable

According to Francis Wilkinson, corporations are showing one face to a younger, diverse America while contributing large amounts to media and campaigns that work to maintain a status quo that is less inclusive — saying those companies are advertising to Democratic consumers, then turning around and spending that money to support Republican candidates who will deregulate, cut corporate taxes and weaken labor.
