My fiction aims to create a sense of urgency and awareness -- a sense of responsibility to confront what is wrong and make it right. The imperfections in the world may be corrected through a serious effort to identify and reshape our assumptions about how society and our perceptions, and therefore our behavior, should be structured. We are entering a new stage in the evolution of human consciousness, bringing an awareness of the need for new goals and values. Together, we can contribute to that new way of thinking and behaving.
