Describing the life of Kat Oaks and Archie Ivan. When Archie’s father Leo, leader of the biggest gang in 2030, finds out his wife Lolly is a French gang member he makes her a deal. “If you give me a son, I won’t kill you.” Screams and echoes of lost souls reside on Ivan manor, just like Archie. As he grows, Archie fells like a echo as well. With no one but his imperiled Governess Kat, Archie must stay quiet. Chapter 9- Issues Unresolved
After Archie turns seven, Kat is forced to face the truth- kids are curious, especially ones that are cooped up. And curious kids ask dangerous questions. Curious questions lead to ambitious answers.
Chapter 8- Real Fakes
Kat feels as if she's waking up; seeing Archie's life and lolly's death from a new perspective. She wishes sometimes that she had never seen her own face in the mirror.
