Prompt: Write a 20-line (approx) poem OR a half-full page paragraph that contains dialogue. The dialogue should be about something, and we should see character and plot revealed through dialogue. You can choose what the dialogue is about. Maybe recounting an argument you had with someone, some dialogue you overheard, a dialogue that you wish would happen--all of these work.

Based on a conversation between my friends that I overheard. The contrast between such a raw topic, paired with the lighthearted, repetitive game of ping pong was interesting to me.

This was based on a conversation I had with boy I hardly knew. He felt that he knew a lot about me because I was willing to share certain information easily, which surprised me because I don't think he knew anything real about me.
