As a child, I learned early in life that I had no chance at a normal life. I grew up in the foster care system, aging out at the age of 18. Throughout my childhood years I had experienced every form of abuse there is, physical, mental, emotional, and sexual. Due to the extent of trauma I had faced, I developed Borderline Personality Disorder in which one lacks the ability to regulate their emotions. For many years I truly believed I was doomed. It wasn't until later in life that I learned that all the pain and misery gave me an amazing gift. I am a poet, songwriter, artist, whatever you want to call it. All I know is I have a way with words and I love to write!
