Sudden tightness in my stomach, slowly increasing pain climbing inside of me. There is a sharp, stabbing feeling in my chest like someone is squeezing all the life from my heart. I'm gasping for air as if I am suffocating from an imaginary bag being held over my head. As I sit here slowly dying, I notice that no one around me has any idea of what is going on. They sit and talk about upcoming events, and laugh about old memories of how far they have come over the years. I'm right beside them screaming, " Help me! Can't you hear me?! Grab my hand! Rip this bag off of me! Help me! Don't you see me dying?!" and no one changes pace, no one even looks in my direction. I then noticed the screaming is in my head, my lips have not moved a muscle.....

I would give my life to protect the one I love, and I feel he would do the same. I place my life in his hands, trusting him to keep me safe. I never worry or fear of possible dangers that surround us on a daily basis when he is with me. I never doubt him to protect the lives of my children, even when I am not in the area. The only thing I fear, and try to protect from him is my heart. How can I trust someone so completely, and not completely at the same time?
