Hi, and welcome to my first post on Life Through My Lens! 📸 I’ve always liked the idea of capturing moments and memories through pictures. Photography gives me a chance to show people the world from my point of view. Sometimes it’s a beautiful place, sometimes it’s people and animals enjoying a moment, and sometimes it’s something simple that catches my eye. I’m still learning photography, and that’s part of why I created Life Through My Lens. I don’t want this to be a place where I pretend to know everything about photography. Instead, I want you to come along with me as I learn. I’ll be sharing photos I’ve taken, the stories behind them, places I visit, things I’m learning about my camera, mistakes I make, and moments that I simply want to remember. Lost hope divides the strength between weakness and uplifts when you see change is just becoming. Spiritually, rain represents divine blessings, spiritual nourishment, and the cleansing of the soul. Just as water softens the earth to allow seeds to grow, rain signifies a period of refreshing and renewal that prepares your heart for a season of spiritual fruitfulness. "Let your faith be like the rain; allow it to wash away the dust of worry and nourish the seeds of your soul.""Even in the darkest storms, the rain is simply heaven preparing the ground for a beautiful harvest of blessings.""Just as the earth cannot bloom without rain, the soul needs both the gentle showers of grace and the heavy stormSymbolism of Rain: Rain, particularly during significant events.

Following the release of my written expression, Saudade, I wanted to manifest the visual landscape of the purgatory that concluded 'Letter to David.' I actually captured these photos while sitting on my couch, experimenting with my vape and the light from my front window for fun. Though I was proud of them initially, I hesitated to share them; I feared the world they depicted would be lost in translation between viewers. Yet, the mission they yearned for became clear to me. Now, having decided to publicly share this immersion of my life, these photographs serve as the bridge through which I can connect and build the world of Sehnsucht-Saudade with you. Godspeed.

This picture was taken 2 years ago I was at my highest weight, 400 pounds. Thankfully, a miracle drug entered the scene, so even while everyone was scooping up Ozempic, I instead asked for mounjaro. And while everyone was gaining weight back...

I am basically wrestling with inner chaos. The madness inside that we keep locked away-the darker sides of ourselves. If you do let the demons run free, it could consume you. its a reminder to keep those compartmentalized, not to let it take over and that you will eventually get to hear your own voice.

Moving forward isn't always easy..but sometimes its very necessary in order to heal and grow from hurt..pain...disappointment. allowing yourself to rediscover your worth helps establish peace..your peace is everything

Age 10 My Mom siblings an I lives in a decent town house three floors an kept in for the most part clean. We took turns cooking cleaning an once our chores were done our friends always lined up outside waiting for us to come out. Some memories I have around this age mom had a couple boyfriends. This one was someone who has still been in my life off an on. But I always remember the man with his short jean shorts a cast of his foot an a tank. My late brother's dad. (Brothers best friend). He used to roll his smokes. An some days when I'd rather sit at home I'd roll packs for him so he didn't have to. But they didn't last long it wasn't until my step dad who now I love very dearly was set up on a blind date with my mom. I guess it went so well we were told 2 weeks after they met we're moving into his house on North end of Edmonton. The commute back and forth from school and home was an hour each day. It wasn't long after that we moved back south. Now six kids two adults three bedroom bst.
