Right now, I’m spending most of my days at home due to medical restrictions during my pregnancy. My focus is simple but important: taking care of my body and doing everything I can to support my baby’s health. This season has slowed my life down in unexpected ways, and I’m learning how to adjust to a quieter, more limited routine. While it hasn’t always been easy, it has also given me space to reflect on what daily life looks like when everything is centered on rest, care, and intention.

Life Hack #1: Denture tablets in the toilet tank?? My eldest daughter just, thankfully , found a new job that she loves working with the elderly. This prompted me to remember my grandmother on my adoptive father's side. After her husband passed, She was inundated with a mass quantity of denture tablets, which she did not use because honestly she never wore her dentures. While I was helping her clean , I proceeded to throw them away and my grandma just about became unglued. "No! GIRL! Don't throw them away.I need them yet". I Looked at grandma confused because I know I had never seen her with her dentures in, ever, except for in church on Sundays sometimes. So imagine my surprise to her reaction. "OH GIRL, Come on, I will show you". I was a little uneasy at this point. I'm not sure if I was startled because of her quick reaction and raised voice or because I really didn't know what the heck she was gonna do with those denture cleanser tablets. Every familiar path leads me back to home but this one in particular is truly special to me as it is suspended in time. As I walk through these woods, I can feel the soft wooden paths under my bare feet, the birds chirping in the distance, and the trees whispering my name over and over again to walk deeper and deeper and suddenly I'm in a trance. As I walk through a clearing, a beautiful view of the mountains comes into my vision as I see a tall wooden house perched by itself. A steady flowing creek behind it. It's so quiet that I can hear the water's sweet lullaby. This house would crumble as the everlasting moments are the foundation. As I open the bright orange door, I see a special person who always reminds me to keep going and the ghost of someone else who I always feel as soon as I step in. It hurts but it is also deeply satisfying as it feels like they are never really gone.
