I swear today it's like all of the young adult generation completely lack manners. I was just at the grocery store today and there was a little old woman with a cane trying to open the door and get the cart through because it wasn't an automatic door you had to pull the door open, mind you there is a young man probably not more than 19 standing maybe two feet away from this elderly woman just staring at her. Did he offer to help her with the door as he's watching her struggle to get into the store, no he just stood there and then proceeds to act impatient with her like he's been waiting for her and he's totally put out because he's gotten stuck waiting for her to try to get into the door instead of even helping her. If this that I'm talking about there's no common courtesy there's no polite there's no manners I swear not even say please or thank you anymore for anything. I think to myself as a parent to you know children of this generation I wonder, Are my children walking around like this, are they not helping people in need? You know elderly people, disabled people, young children I mean, where does it end and when did it stop like when did they stop caring, when did we raise children like this? I wonder if there's anything we can do now to try to enforce this behavioral characteristic on this generation or if it is just a lost cause, I'm not sure, I don't know where I went wrong, do you?
