The Dilemma of Plea Agreements: A controversial "get out of jail free" card that will leave lasting scars on criminal records that last forever & can't always be covered up, removed or even blurred on a persons background check either. Sometimes they stay front & center for potential employers, landlords & creditors to see when they pull up a background check to help them decide if the applicant is worth the risk or not even worth a call back to tell them to look elsewhere for a break because the mistake they made in taking a plea in a case they caught years ago... It haunts them still! And that's all it is, too! A mistake! A mistake that can cripple a man or woman in their ability to make it through the mud at the bottom levels in this life & rise up out of the lower class muck to a middle class existence that a mistake will keep out of reach forever! Is that fair? Is that right? No? Well, it's not going to matter what it is as long as it's the truth about the American Justice System.

This topic is very important because there should be a person in everyone’s life they can trust. Trust in the relationship is important because you can get mad at people for being not like you. There are so many different people and is what makes great friends.

What about the public shaming that goes on in social media platforms today by random members of a community? Is it any better if it's done by a newspaper or another agency that people look to for information and news about their community and the world in general?

January 23rd, 2026. In my spare time I watch a show called "My 600 Pound Life". It's a show you can turn on, fall asleep and wake up to, over and over for days if you wanted. While watching one episode in particular recently, I couldn't help but wonder about the aspect of social work involved. Oftentimes you see these women in excess of 500 pounds being followed around by a much smaller unemployed fiance or husband. The episode in particular that I was watching that gave me cause to write this article specifically brought up this point.

Entrapment is an affirmative legal defense claiming law enforcement induced an otherwise innocent person to commit a crime they had no predisposition to commit. It requires proving government agents originated the criminal design and pressured the defendant, rather than just providing the opportunity. What is NOT Entrapment: Merely providing an opportunity, undercover sting operations, lying about identity, or using decoys is legal, provided they do not cross the line into coercion. Imagine asking a simple question: What is truth? At first, the answer seems obvious. Truth reflects reality. Facts are facts. The world is the world. But then the questions begin. Are there truths that exist no matter what humans believe? Are there truths shaped by culture, society, and geography? And if truth reflects reality, how much of that reality depends on our five senses—what we see, hear, smell, taste, and touch? Because if our senses shape our understanding of the world, then our perception might be shaping what we call truth. Which leads to an uncomfortable possibility: What if some of the truths we believe in are not universal at all… but simply the way we experience the world?

Things in this world seem to baffle me. I never know what to expect sometimes. Some things look drab and others pretty, but what's inside that counts. Everything can seem ordinary, yet be so special, so precious. Life is like that. I don't know why, but it's different.
